After completing his education at Pondok in the academic year of 2013/2014, Nur Wachid was obliged to dedicate himself for a full year, in order to practice the knowledge he had received during his study. At that time he was placed in dedication in Gontor 5 Banyuwangi, which is a modern boarding school which is also a part of Gontor 1. He dedicated during the dedication period as a counseling section (ri'ayatu-ath-tholabah).
Finally he completed 1 year of dedication and get a diploma. Now he decides to carry on in higher education at Sunan Ampel UIN with a major in Al - Quran and Interpretation.

Nama Nur Wachid Hidayat sebenarnya bukanlah nama lengkapnya, ketika lahir orangtuanya memberi nama Nur Wachid Hidayatur Rofi' Rofi'atul Huda. Merasa tak cocok dengan nama yang terlalu panjang itu, maka ia mempersingkat namanya hanya dengan tiga kalimat saja. Wahid dilahirkan di kota Jepara pada tanggal 1 Oktober 1995 yang bertepatan dengan tanggal 7 Jumada al-Ula 1416 H, Nur Wachid adalah anak pertama dari pasangan Moch. Sholikhul Huda dan Rofiah. Ayahnya dahulu adalah seorang Guru ngaji begitu pula Ibunya mengajar murid-murid dengan prifat.
Pada saat umur 6 tahun, beliau memulai karir pendidikan di jenjang dasar, yaitu di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo, yang berada di desa Jetis. Salah satu guru bliau dahulu adalah kakak Ibunya sendiri. Beliau selesai menamatkan jenjang SD pada tahun ajaran 2007/2008 dan mendapatkan ijasah.
Setelah itu, Nur Wachid melanjutkan jenjang berikutnya di sebuah Pondok Pesantren, yang sudah akrab dikenal dengan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, berada di kota Ponorogo, Jawa Timur. Di situlah beliau menyandang gelar santri dan menuntut ilmu selama 6 th, di Pondok Modern ini, banyak keahlian professi yang didapat menjadi bekal baginya, untuk menjadi pribadi yang bermanfaat bagi ummat. Dan di sini juga beliau belajar semua yang ada, seperti Bhs Arab dan Inggris bahkan ke 2 bahasa tersebut diwajibkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, banyak perubahan sikap yang beliau rasakan selama belajar di pondok, mental menjadi lebih luar biasa, dan tentunya pribadi menjadi semakin dewasa.
Usai menyelesaikan pendidikan di Pondok pada tahun ajaran 2013/1014, Nur Wachid diwajibkan untuk mengabdi selama 1 tahun penuh, guna mengamalakan ilmu yang sudah beliau dapat selama nyantri. Pada waktu itu bliau ditempatkan pengabdian di Gontor 5 Banyuwangi, yakni Pondok modern yang merupakan cabang dari Gontor 1. Beliau selama masa mengabdi menjabat sebagai bagian konseling (ri'ayatu-ath-tholabah).
Selesailah masa pengabdiannya selama 1 tahun dan mendapatkan ijazah. Kini beliau memutuskan untuk melanjutkan di perguruan tinggi di UIN Sunan Ampel dengan jurusan Ilmu Al Quran dan Tafsir.
